This edition of whisky Royal Brackla 2009 is part of the Connoisseurs Choice range from Gordon & MacPhail – a series of carefully selected Highland single malt whiskies bottled at cask strength, often in small and limited batches.
Distilled in 2009, matured in ex-bourbon casks, and bottled at 55,4 % ABV.
On the nose, you’ll find aromas of pear, fresh apple, sweet lemon, honey, and subtle hints of passion fruit.
The palate reveals spiced apple, mango, pineapple, Seville orange peel, all balanced with cracked black pepper. The finish is full and spicy, with lingering tropical fruit notes.
This expression presents Royal Brackla in a more intense form – ideal for those seeking a Highland single malt with higher strength and a bold, characterful profile.
