Gordon & Macphail Glenburgie Distillery Labels 25 Year Old

This 25-year-old Scotch whisky edition comes from the Glenburgie distillery, known for its gentle, fruity and smooth Speyside character. Independent bottler Gordon & MacPhail included it in their iconic Distillery Labels range, which highlights the authentic style of each distillery through traditional label designs.

The whisky matured for around sherry casks and refill oak, resulting in deep layers of sweetness, ripe fruit and balanced oak tones. Bottled at 46 % ABV, it retains its natural character without chill filtration.

On the nose, it reveals notes of ripe apples, pear syrup, plum tart, caramel sweetness, honey, and a soft sherry influence. Subtle dried fruit and delicate wood spice add further depth.

The palate is rich and silky, offering caramelised apples, honey, ripe pears, citrus zest, gentle chocolate, and raisins. Gradually, soft spice, refined oak, malt richness and a hint of nuts emerge.

The finish is long, elegant and harmonious, with lingering tones of sweet sherry, dried fruit, honey, mild spice and mature oak.
