Chateau Rúbaň Dunaj 2023

Slovak quality red dry wine with a protected designation of origin and the attribute selection from grapes. Vintage 2023, South Slovak wine-growing region - Strekov village, Góre hon. The wine is made from the Dunaj grape variety, which was harvested with a sugar content of 26°NM.

A wine of deep, dark red color with a purple-violet edge, with a ripe fruity aroma dominated by notes of plums, ripe gypsy sour cherry, blackthorn jam, plum gingerbread and freshly ground cocoa beans. The taste is pleasantly velvety, well structured, with sweet ripe tannins and a mild chocolate-vanillin character. The finish of the wine is long, balanced and warm.

We recommend serving with bold beef dishes, whole roasted beef and game, as well as meats grilled over an open fire. It combines very well with heavier natural sauces as well as spicy preparations.

We recommend serving at a temperature of 15 to 17°C. Bottle maturity 3 to 5 years.
