Chateau Rúbaň Dunaj 2023

Slovak quality red dry wine with a protected designation of origin and the attribute selection from grapes. Vintage 2023, South Slovak Wine Region - village Strekov, vineyard Góre. The wine is made from the grape variety Dunaj, which was harvested with a sugar content of 26 °NM.

The wine has a rich, dark red color with a purplish-violet rim, featuring a ripe fruity aroma dominated by notes of plums, ripe sour cherries, sloe jam, plum gingerbread, and freshly ground cocoa beans. The taste is pleasantly velvety, well-structured, with sweet ripe tannins and a subtly chocolate-vanilla character. The finish of the wine is long, balanced, and warming.

We recommend serving it with robust beef dishes, whole roasted beef, and game, as well as with meats grilled over an open fire. It pairs very well with heavier natural sauces and spicy preparations.

We recommend serving at a temperature of 15 to 17 °C. Bottle aging 3 to 5 years.
