Chateau Rúbaň Hron 2023

Premium heavy Slovak red dry quality wine Hron vintage 2023 from the winery Chateau Rúbaň with the designation selection from grapes and with a protected designation of origin. It comes from the South Slovak wine-growing region - the village Strekov. It was placed in oak barrels where it matured for 18 months.

The variety Hron belongs to the category of Slovak new breeds. It is a crossbreed of the varieties Castets and Abouriou noir. The grapes were hand-picked and then sorted again on a vibrating table. De-stemmed, whole grape berries underwent slow maceration at low temperature.

The wine pairs especially well with dishes of dark meat or game with fruity types of sauces. It excels particularly with more pronounced venison. It is an excellent companion for lighter to medium-heavy types of cigars. We recommend serving at a temperature of 5 to 17 °C.
