Chateau Rúbaň Hron 2023

Premium heavy Slovak red dry quality wine Hron vintage 2023 from Chateau Rúbaň winery with the attribute selection of grapes and with a protected designation of origin. It comes from the South Slovak wine-growing region - the village of Strekov. It was placed in oak barrels, where it matured for 18 months.

The Hron variety belongs to the category of Slovak new nobles. It is a cross between the varieties Castets and Abouriou noir. The grapes were harvested by hand and then re-sorted on a vibrating table. The stalked, whole grape berries underwent a slow maceration at low temperature.

The wine is especially suitable for dark meat or game dishes with fruit types of sauces. It excels especially with more pronounced venison. It is an excellent partner for lighter to medium-heavy types of cigars. We recommend serving at a temperature of 15 to 17 °C.
