A relatively recently released whiskey from Bunnahabhain. It is less peat to Islay whiskey. Malt has matured in sherry barrels for 18 years and has coastal tones and some healing undertones.
Aroma: Full, cereals, warm pastries, lightly salted butter. Fruit with a hint of smoke. Iodine. Malt, apple peel.
Taste: Very dry, apple, pear sweet.
Conclusion: Short but pleasant. Pastries, smoke.
