Laphroaig The Cask Legacy is a smoky Scotch single malt whisky from the Isle of Islay, released as a synonym for the quality that made Laphroaig famous and a tribute to distilling craftsmanship.
The whisky matured in first and second-fill, heavily charred bourbon casks. It was then transferred for final maturation in small European virgin oak casks. For the Laphroaig distillery, this is a newly introduced process, where whisky from larger casks underwent slower maturation, giving it a more pronounced depth.
The result is not only a deep but also a flavor-rich and structured whisky with notes of peat smoke, caramelized dark fruits, and oily woody tones.
Serve neat or with a few ice cubes.
Bottles are filled with an alcohol content of 48% with a volume of 0.7 l and are delivered in gift cartons.
