Kilchoman Machir Bay is an excellent but mainly high quality Scottish single malt whisky, which comes from the Islay area. Machir Bay was named after a small but very nice beach in Scotland.
Whiskey matured for about 6 years in first-filled ex-bourbon barrels. In the end, it was filled into ex-sherry Oloroso barrels, which led to an amazingly balanced taste profile. It has a fantastically pleasant scent with tones of vanilla biscuits, fruit and warm peat smoke.
We recommend serving with a drop of water, but preferably clean at room temperature. It comes in a very nice blue-gold gift box.

Sanaig is the result of a combination of maturation in ex-sherry and ex-bourbon barrels . The high proportion of Oloroso sherry adds the whiskey taste of dried fruit and spices to the classic citrus - smoky Kilchoman. Together they form a balanced single malt Scotch whiskey with the typical fine peat smoke of Islay and citrus sweetness.
