The very first release of 4-year-old Australian rye whisky Belgrove from That Boutique-y Rye Company. Limited edition Batch 4 contains 340 bottles.
Belgrove Distillery is globally renowned for its rye whiskies, which are produced in a truly unique way. Behind it is Peter Bignell, a Tasmanian farmer who became a distiller and is also known as the "mad scientist." He grows his own grains for whisky production and even uses biofuel for distillation, which is cooking oil from a nearby roadside diner!
On the label, you will find white boards with the production process and also a well-known television chef who visited this distillery on his show and tried the unconventional techniques of making this whisky himself...

The juniper distillate is created in a small, handcrafted, copper distillation apparatus. All alcoholic vapors must pass through a metal sieve containing herbs.
Cold, clear, and soft water from Lüneburg Heath, Portuguese lemons the size of grapefruits, juniper, fresh rosemary, and the oily resin from the herb cistus (rock rose) make GIN SUL exceptional. A hint of the Portuguese Atlantic coast is filled into typical white clay bottles, which protect the gin from light and heat.
