Amrut Single Malt

Amrut Single Malt is the flagship expression of India’s Amrut Distilleries, the first producer to introduce the world to premium Indian whisky made from malted barley grown in the foothills of the Himalayas.

This whisky has earned international recognition thanks to its pronounced character, natural depth and faster maturation influenced by Bangalore’s warm climate.

The base is 100 % malted barley (non-peated), traditionally distilled and matured in American oak barrels. The combination of high temperatures and large day–night variations accelerates cask interaction, creating an intense, concentrated and highly aromatic profile.

On the nose it offers notes of honey, vanilla, caramel, tropical fruits, fresh malt and gentle spice.

The palate whisky is smooth, malty and fruity – honey, vanilla, pear, mango, light spice, roasted barley and a touch of soft oak. The finish is medium-long, warm, with hints of sweet spice, caramel and mellow wood.
