Kavalan Concertmaster Port Cask Finish

Taiwanese whisky has always been a "thing," unavailable to the European market. Fortunately, that has changed. Since 2008, the highly acclaimed Kavalan whisky is finally available in Europe! This single malt whisky utilizes Ruby Port, Tawny Port, and Vintage Port casks from Portugal to gain the charm and flavor of American oak and the wines that mature in them. Kavalan Concertmaster was named the best in its class at the International Wine & Spirit Competition in 2011.

Color: gold with a ruby glow
Aroma: tropical fruit, coconut, honey
Taste: sweet, fruity, with notes of sweet berries and dry coconut. It also carries a hint of bitterness.
Finish: short and dry at first impression. It carries a subtle tone of coconut and a hint of port.
