Kavalan Concertmaster Sherry Cask

Second whisky from the successful Kavalan Concertmaster series. In addition to top-notch Kavalan refill casks, it also matures in the finest hand-selected Spanish ex-sherry casks. Don't forget the subtropical heat, which greatly accelerates the 2-year aging process. The highest levels of the Kavalan warehouse can reach temperatures of up to 42 °C, resulting in a minimum of 15% angel's share each year. This distinctive Taiwanese whisky is sure to delight any whisky connoisseur.

The name Kavalan means "people of the plain" and is named after the local indigenous tribes that originally inhabited this area. The land where the distillery is located is known for its cold spring water and salty ocean air.

Color: pale apricot
Aroma: tropical fruit, mango, coconut, red fruits like currants, cranberries, vanilla, and caramel
Taste: ripe dark fruit, walnuts, almonds, and other nuts flow across the palate
Finish: dark chocolate, creamy caramel, red fruit
