Nikka Coffey Gin is an exceptional Japanese gin that combines traditional distillation techniques with unique botanical ingredients. It is produced at the Miyagikyo distillery using Coffey stills, which ensure a smooth and silky texture of the distillate.
The base is distillate from corn and barley, enriched with 11 carefully selected botanicals, including four types of Japanese citrus – yuzu, kabosu, amanatsu, and shequasar – which give the gin a fresh and exotic aroma. Other ingredients include juniper berries, angelica, coriander seeds, lemon and orange peel, as well as apples and Japanese sansho pepper, which add depth and complexity to the flavor.
This gin is known for its distinct citrus aroma, dominated by notes of yuzu, lemon peel, and orange juice, complemented by subtle spices and juniper. The taste is initially sweet, then develops into layers of fruit, citrus peel, and exotic notes, reminiscent of a tropical fruit salad. The finish is long, with hints of spice and citrus peel that linger on the palate.
Bottles are filled with an alcohol content of 47% with a volume of 0.7 l and are delivered in gift boxes.
