Naga Rum Cask Aged comes from Indonesia (Java Island), where it includes the cultivation of sugar cane on its own plantations.
Indonesian rum that will enchant you with a great balance between aroma and flavor. It is produced in the northern part of Java Island according to long-standing Asian traditions.
A combination of traditional pot still distillation methods and modern column stills is used for its production. Approximately 52% of the rum is distilled traditionally with an alcohol content of around 65%, while the remaining 48% comes from column distillation, achieving an alcohol content of up to 92%. This combination ensures a harmonious balance between full flavor and smoothness.
The resulting rum is a blend of pot and column distillation. Java Reserve ages 3 to 5 years first in teak wood barrels (a hardwood from Southeast Asia) and then in American bourbon barrels.
The rum offers rich tropical aromas with hints of caramel, toffee, and dark chocolate, complemented by subtle notes of vanilla and ripe fruits like mango and banana.
On the palate, it is full and smooth, with a combination of sweetness from caramel and vanilla, complemented by notes of dark chocolate and gentle spices. Tropical fruit and a light hint of smoke add depth and complexity.
