Naga Full Proof

Naga Full Proof is the cask-strength version of the Thai rum Naga Siam, bottled straight from the barrel at 60.1% ABV – without dilution. Limited edition from 2012, aged in the tropical conditions of Java, it offers a strong and complex tasting experience for discerning connoisseurs.

The rum is distilled in 2012 from molasses using continuous column distillation and then aged for approximately 10 – 11 years in ex-bourbon barrels under the influence of the tropical climate.

Before bottling, it is kept at full strength – without adding water – which emphasizes its original intensity and uniqueness.

The aromas are dominated by toasted coconut, vanilla, dark chocolate, dried fruit, coffee, and black pepper. On the palate, sweet bananas, toffee, nutmeg, and pineapple emerge, mingling with spicier cinnamon and fiery black pepper. The alcohol strength is excellently integrated, creating a balance between intensity and smoothness of the flavor profile.

Naga rum draws from the tradition of Batavia arrack, distilled as early as the 15th–17th centuries, which spread in Java – “arrack” means spirit and originated from the fusion of European colonists' cultures and indigenous production. The limited series of 3,253 numbered bottles highlights exclusivity and the unique terroir driven by jungle tropical weather.
