Stroh Original 80 is an iconic Austrian spiced rum liqueur (Inländer Rum), produced according to a traditional recipe since 1832. This strong and aromatic spirit is a true symbol of Austrian heritage, especially enjoyed in alpine regions and at Christmas markets.
Unlike Caribbean rums, Stroh is made from molasses and sugar syrup, infused with natural extracts, spices, fruit essences, and caramel, creating its signature sweet, spicy, and rum-vanilla flavour profile.
The aroma is rich, with notes of vanilla, caramel, honey, clove, nutmeg, and brown sugar. The taste is full-bodied and intense, featuring molasses, caramel, gingerbread, dried fruits, and spices. The finish is long, warming, and sweet, with a hint of smokiness.
