Naga Shani PX

Naga Shani PX is an exclusive edition of Thai rum from the Naga distillery, in a 0.7 l bottle with an alcohol content of 46 % vol., with a worldwide limited production of only 4 236 pieces

Aged for 10 years in the tropical environment of Thailand, primarily in ex-bourbon barrels made of American oak, which impart base notes of vanilla and wood. This period is followed by a final maturation – 15 months in barrels that previously held sweet Spanish sherry Pedro Ximénez (PX), which significantly influences the sweet and fruity character (figs, raisins).

Distillation in the pot still of the Naga distillery produces a smoother, fuller distillate. The subsequent years of aging first take place in a Caribbean climate, where there is intense interaction with the barrel, and then in a European environment during the PX finish, which rum harmonizes and creates a fresh sweetness with a Spanish influence.

The resulting bottle is unfiltered, without artificial additives, preserving the authentic character of the product.
