The Loch Lomond The Open Special Edition 2023 is created to celebrate the 151st edition of the Open tournament in the English Royal City of Liverpool in collaboration with golf ambassador Colin Montgomerie.
Master Blender Michael Henry created this exceptional single malt with Colin Montgomery to explore the influence of the elegant casks of Spanish Rioja Alta Reserva on Loch Lomond's distinctive style. This single malt whisky was matured in American oak casks, then Michael hand selected a range of casks to finish in Rioja Alta Reserva to add further depth of flavour to the distillery's distinctive style.
We recommend serving neat or with an ice cube. The whisky is not chill filtered, bottled at 46% alcohol.
