Fettercairn 16 Year Old Release 2022

Fettercairn Release 2022 is a captivating Scottish whisky from the Highland region. Each release from previous years showcases the maturation methods that highlight the unique tropical character of this distillery.

It has undergone exclusive 16-year maturation in three different casks! First, it matured in first-fill ex-sherry Oloroso and Pedro Ximenéz casks, which imparted a wonderful fruity aroma. It was then transferred to ex-bourbon barrels, adding a subtly spicy flavor with notes of oak, herbs, and wood.

Finally, it was bottled at a high 46.4 % alcohol content, presented in a minimalist white gift packaging with colorful decor. We recommend serving it neat and, importantly, at room temperature.
