Clairin Casimir Rum 2021 is produced by the Haitian distillery Faubert Casimir from pure sugarcane juice. This artisanal family distillery is located on the shores of the Caribbean Sea, in the area of Baradères.
Rum from fresh sugarcane juice is fermented here using wild yeast in open-air vats. Wild anise, ginger, and lemongrass are added to these vats, creating a unique fermentation process.
This edition was distilled in 2021 in pot stills over an open flame by Faubert Casimir. It was bottled without any reduction to preserve all its deliciousness. This clairin is therefore brut d'alambic.
Bottles were filled with an alcohol content of 51.5 % and come in gift boxes.
