Chateau Topoľčianky Retro Riesling

Chateau Topoľčianky presents a exclusive collection of the highest quality Slovak wines in original retro style. Quality varietal wine with the designation cibébový výber, white, semi-sweet, with a protected designation of origin, Nitra wine region from the Retro edition. Wines from Rizling vlašský are characterized by relatively high acidity and freshness. Aging potential 3 years.

It features a beautiful golden-yellow color with a greenish sheen. The bouquet of the wine consists of pleasant notes of peaches, gooseberry leaves, and lemon balm, with a floral-nutty finish. The taste is elegant, full with a fresh aftertaste of ripe gooseberries. We recommend serving at 10 - 12 °C.

This is a histamine-free wine. Histamine-free wines (also referred to as low-histamine) are suitable for people suffering from histamine intolerance. The basis is that the grapes are grown without chemicals, harvested by hand, and all damaged berries are removed.

The entire production process is therefore very clean, and the fermentation process can be stopped at the right time to prevent histamine formation. Thus, the histamine level is very low, even zero. These wines are not fined, so they also contain a very low level of sulfites. The advantage of low sulfite levels is that if you overindulge in the wine a bit, the next day you won't have a headache.
