Chateau Topoľčianky Dunaj – Berry Selection is a premium red wine made from the unique Slovak variety Dunaj, which was created by crossing the varieties Svätovavrinecké × Portugalské modré × Alibernet. The Dunaj variety is known for its high sugar content, fullness, and intense fruity expression, making it suitable for producing selection wines with a rich character.

Berry selection represents wine made from grapes of exceptionally high quality – from berries with high sugar content and ideal phenolic ripeness. As a result, Dunaj has a pronounced aromatic depth, concentrated fruity tones, and soft, velvety tannins.

Vinification focuses on the extraction of color, fruitiness, and a subtly spicy structure. Often, part of the wine ages in oak barrels, which brings complexity, smoothness, and an elegant woody undertone.
