Chateau Selešťany Hontianska Parádna Apricot Brandy

The authentic fruit distillate Chateau Selešťany Hontianska parádna Marhuľovica is made from the Bergeron apricot variety. This product combines traditional recipes and quality.

The Bergeron variety originates from Hungary, where it was bred in the 1930s in Kecskemét by Pál Kocsis through the crossing of the Bratislavské biele and Čabianska perla varieties. The variety is widespread in Hungary, Slovakia, and partially in Moravia. It is particularly popular in Slovakia. It ripens early, already by mid-August.

In 2013, Chateau Selešťany launched the production of authentic distillates in their fruit distillery and grower's distillery under the patronage of their friend Gabo Karlina. The bottles are filled with an alcohol content of 45%.
