Chateau Selešťany Apricot Liqueur
The authentic fruit distillate Chateau Selešťany Marhuľovica is made from apricots of the Bergeron variety. The main distinguishing feature of apricot distillate is the dominant sweet aroma of ripe apricots. This characteristic is derived from the variety as well as the soil and climatic conditions during cultivation in southern Slovakia. Its taste is distinctly aromatic and fresh, with a slight sweet undertone. In the distillate from apricots of the Bergeron variety, you will find a balanced, warm to honey-full flavor highlighted by sharper tones at the end, which gradually fade with further aging.
Bergeron Apricot is a late French variety with fruits of excellent taste. The fruits are medium-sized, orange-yellow with a light red blush, the flesh is orange, firm, juicy, sweet, and aromatic. The variety is generally resistant to diseases. Its fruits ripen in the first week of August.
The distillate was bottled with 52% alcohol content and the bottles have a volume of 0.5l.
