Papa's Pilar Spanish Sherry Casks is a branded dark rum inspired by the legendary Ernest Hemingway and his adventurous lifestyle, expeditions to sea, even his ship was named Pilar and Hemingway himself was nicknamed Papa.

Papa's Pilar Spanish Sherry Casks is made from different rums that are blended and aged together. It contains 9 different rums from regions such as Barbados, Dominican Republic, Venezuela, Panama and Florida, giving it a complex flavour. This rum is aged in a variety of cask types including ex-bourbon American oak, ex-port wine and ex-sherry Spanish Oloroso.

Dried fruits and spices are the characteristic flavours that have been created by maturing in sherry casks. The rum is recommended to be consumed on its own or can be used as a base for various cocktails.
