Balvenie 15 Year Old Madeira Cask is a single malt whisky from the Scottish Speyside region, combining the smoothness of American white oak with the rich character of Madeira wine casks. Maturation begins in American oak barrels, which impart notes of vanilla, honey, and gentle wood. The final finish in Madeira casks adds pronounced fruity sweetness and depth.
The result is a full-bodied, harmonious, and silky-smooth Scotch whisky with an elegant expression. It is bottled at 43 % ABV, allowing it to retain a balanced character and a rich flavour profile. On the nose, notes of honey, dried raisins, figs, and dates are complemented by dried peaches, orange peel, and hazelnuts. The palate is complex and creamy, with a distinct fruity sweetness.
