Description
Ardbeg Scorch is a bold limited edition that celebrates the wild character of the Islay island. The whisky matured in a combination of ex-bourbon casks and heavily charred "dragon char" oak casks, which imparted extreme smokiness, dryness, and a carbon character.
The result is a very intense single malt with notes of peat, burnt wood, black pepper, and saltiness. Ardbeg Scorch is a whisky for experienced smoke lovers and collectors of limited editions.
