Introducing a whisky full of captivating flavors. For the first time in history, the whisky Ardbeg Spectacular has matured in casks that previously held rare port wine.
Years spent in bourbon and port casks have imparted a fascinating array of bizarre notes. Fragrant lavender and scented candles intertwine into a rich almond nuttiness.
Deeper notes, such as peat and wood smoke, present bold tones of creosote and tar, followed by leather and mint chocolate, which then leap into sweet pear pomace and salted caramel fondant. Ardbeg Spectacular is a stunning showcase of distillation, an undeniable phenomenon of flavor. Non-chill filtered with an alcohol content of 46 %.
