Ardbeg is one of the oldest distilleries on the Isle of Islay in Scotland. It was founded in 1815, subsequently closed, and reopened. Since then, Ardbeg has become one of the most popular whisky brands in the world. In 1997, it was purchased by Glenmorangie, which successfully revitalized it and expanded its range. Today, it is owned by the French group LVMH, which continues to preserve the traditional whisky-making methods used for over 200 years.

This whisky can be enjoyed neat or with a splash of water, which softens its flavor and releases more aromas. Bottles are filled with an alcohol content of 48.2% with a volume of 0.7 l.
