The limited edition single malt whisky Ardbeg Heavy Vapours is coming. Something unusual is happening at the distillery. The legendary purifier on the still, responsible for the excellent balance of the Ardbeg distillery, is nowhere to be seen. And this whisky - Ardbeg Heavy Vapours - is the result.

The whisky matured in ex-bourbon casks.

The well-known harmony between peat and floral fruitiness has been disrupted. Untamed darker flavors and notes emerge, accumulating and filling the senses. It is a sinister spirit with dramatic, aromatic sharpness. Heavy vapors rise.

Darker flavors and notes of Ardbeg come to the fore on the palate. An explosion of bitter sweetness arrives, disrupting the ashy coal dust and casting a hint of cardamom, peppermint, and coffee grounds. Clouds of dark chocolate and menthol eucalyptus emerge, the flavor contains fruity and floral notes typically found at the heart of Ardbeg. On the palate, twists of anise, cinnamon, and antiseptic lozenges linger.

Unfiltered at 46 %. Bottles are delivered in gift cartons with a special design.
