Absinthe is a strong alcoholic drink made from herbal extracts, the base being wormwood. It is a green drink with an unforgettable bitter taste, which is why it is consumed diluted with water and sweetened with sugar.

Genuine absinthe is an exclusively distilled spirit with a delicate, herbaceous character and a barely perceptible wormwood bitterness. The name comes from the French absinthe, after the Latin name for the true wormwood, artemisia absinthium. The 'holy trinity' of aniseed, fennel and wormwood form the basis of absinthe.
The bottles are filled at 60 % alcohol with a volume of 0,5 l.
