VANAPO, s.r.o. was founded in 1993 in Svidník as the first non-state distillery and fruit distillery in Slovakia.

They produce a wide range of products – from vodkas, borovičkas and fernets to honest fruit distillates – using traditional and modern methods. Their technology includes cold distillation, copper stills and rectification columns, which allows them to achieve pure aromas without chemical additives.

The brand was founded by Stanislav Cehelský and later taken over by his family, who have continued its development with an emphasis on ecological and socio-cultural values.

Vanapo uses drinking water from the Starina reservoir and regional raw materials from local suppliers, while maintaining strict environmental standards – recycling, environmental protection and ISO 9001 quality certification since 2005.
