Description
GlenAllachie presents its third batch of 10-year-old single malt whisky, Batch 3, from the Valley of the Rocks, cask strength at 58.2%. Specially selected batch by master distiller - Billy Walker. The whisky matured in 1st and 2nd fill bourbon casks, sherry PX Puncheon, sherry Oloroso casks, and finally in new virgin oak casks. Unchillfiltered, undiluted. Only 3,500 cartons produced.
Color: rich mahogany.
Aroma: strong dark chocolate, raisins, honey, layers of sweet spices, and orange peel.
Taste: rich notes of dark chocolate, raisins, syrup, heather honey, sweet spices, and hints of eucalyptus.
