Description
This 10-year-old single malt whiskey won a gold medal at the World Spirits Competition in San Francisco in 2006. A classic from the Speyburn distillery.
The scent is relatively citrus and aromatic. Sugared orange peels and herb tones, wood shavings and pine oil, coach menthol leaves and winter spices. You will not miss the tones of malting barley and the sweetness of grain. The taste is medium and quite smooth and you will find well-balanced tones of sweetness of grain and arrack, malt extract and anise with hints of something herbal and a touch of smoke. The finish is quite long, with a lot of barley.

A new product has appeared on the Slovak market that is not afraid to go against the grain. Jon Rye Wanted is a brand new whiskey from Nicolaus that does not try to compete with Scottish or Irish legends with their history and myths. Instead of endless stories about pedigree and old barrels, it brings something bolder – a pure taste and a rebellious attitude.
How did it actually come about?
