Whisky Dalwhinnie Winter's Gold is an additional part of the Highland distillery, inspired in 2015 by the cool climate in a remote part of Scotland where their single malt Scotch whisky is distilled.
The whisky is distilled between October and March, which is why it has the fitting name - Winter's Gold (Zimné zlato).
The aroma is full of oak spiciness, pears, syrup, and malt, with a touch of peach and caramel.
The taste is rich and honeyed with warm spices and red cinnamon, with notes of apple and orange peel.
Overall, the Winter's Gold whisky is assertive, spicy, honeyed with plenty of sweetness and character.
Bottles are filled with an alcohol content of 43% with a volume of 0.7 l and are delivered in gift cartons.
