Tariquet Pure Folle Blanche Bas - Armagnac
Pure Folle Blanche Bas - Armagnac from Domaine Tariquet is a blend of eaux-de-vie. It is made from a unique traditional variety of armagnac: Folle Blanche. The youngest eaux-de-vie that make up this blend have aged in oak barrels for at least 3 years in the Tariquet cellars.
It has a beautiful color of old rum. A delicate, spicy, nuanced aroma, without harshness, just a hint of vanilla, enhanced by notes of cinnamon and dried fruit. Rising esters provide aromas of cocoa and vanilla. The taste is full, with spices and sultanas, balanced and strong. In the finish, the aromas of vanilla, dried fruit, spices, and plums are emphasized.
Domaine Tariquet owns 1,125 hectares of vineyards, which means that all Tariquet wines are estate-grown. Domaine Tariquet produces armagnac, white wines including the famous Cuvée Premières Grives, rosé wines, and red wines from Domaine du Mage.
The estate first gained fame in the 1980s with the cuvée Classic, the estate's historic cuvée, which celebrated its 40th anniversary in 2022.
Since that time, Le Tariquet has built its reputation. Since then, Armin and Rémy Grassa (the owners), following in the footsteps of their father and aunt, have poured all of Tariquet's expertise into beautiful dry white cuvées such as Côté, Réserve, and Bulle de Tariquet with Entracte, which offer creamy bubbles with gourmet notes.
