Macallan 12 Year Old Triple Cask Matured

The 12-year-old whisky Macallan Triple Cask is part of Triple Cask Matured range; a series of single malt whiskies made in a triple combination of European and American cask maturation (ex-sherry European casks, ex-sherry American casks and ex-bourbon American casks).

Once casked, the maturing spirit remains undisturbed in the same casks for 12 years - after which this complex combination of casks come together brilliantly and expertly to create this vibrant single malt.

This complex combination of oak casks gives the whisky an exceptionally smooth and subtle character, full of citrus, vanilla and fresh oak.

Triple Cask Matured was previously known as the Fine Oak series and offers the same extremely smooth, delicate yet complex character with a new name, new bottle and bold new packaging.

It is the oak that contributes most to the quality, natural colour and distinctive aromas and flavours that underpin the whisky.

The bottles are bottled at 40 % ABV with a volume of 0,7 l and are supplied in gift cartons.
