It matures in American oak casks and finishes in ex-wine Chardonnay casks, creating a profile of honeyed flowers, vibrant orchard fruit, and toasted oak.
Michael Henry - Master Blender created this expression alongside Colin Montgomerie to explore the influence of aromatic and juicy French Chardonnay casks on the distinctive style of Loch Lomond.
To finish in first-fill Chardonnay wine casks, a selection of casks is handpicked to add further depth of flavor to our signature distillation style. These exceptional Chardonnay wine casks help create a smooth whisky with notes of honeyed flowers, vibrant orchard fruit, and toasted oak, perfectly complemented by a subtle smoke in the finish.
It is non-chill filtered, bottled at 46%, and presented in a gift carton with Colin Montgomerie's signature.
