Karpatská Perla Pinot Noir

Pinot Noir from the winery Karpatská Perla comes from the prestigious vineyard site Suchý Vrch in Modra. This terroir, defined by calcareous-clay soils, perfectly suits the delicate Pinot Noir variety, giving the wine elegance, subtle minerality and a deep fruity character.

The PDO (Protected Designation of Origin) certification guarantees the exclusive origin and high quality of the grapes.

The vintage 2021 this red wine was crafted gently, with an emphasis on preserving the natural finesse of Pinot Noir. Fermentation took place at controlled temperature, followed by maturation partly in stainless steel and partly in wooden barrels. This provided the wine with a velvety texture, soft tannins and mild notes of vanilla and spice without overpowering oak influence.

The aroma is dominated by cherries, raspberries, strawberries, forest berries, with a hint of dried herbs and mineral undertones.

The palate is smooth, juicy and harmonious – red berries, raspberry, cranberry, cherry stone, fine spice and elegant tannins. The acidity is fresh and well integrated, supporting a long, clean finish.

The finish wine is elegant, fruity, slightly spicy with a mineral touch characteristic of the Suchý Vrch terroir.

Perfect with lighter red meats, game, roast chicken, grilled mushrooms, matured cheeses or as an evening glass for lovers of refined Pinot Noir.
