Karpatská Perla Pinot Gris 2024

Pinot Gris 2024 from the Karpatská Perla winery comes from the prestigious vineyard site Suchý Vrch in Modra. This terroir is characterised by calcareous-clay soils that give the wines mineral precision, elegance and remarkable concentration. The PDO (Protected Designation of Origin) status guarantees high quality and that all grapes come exclusively from this defined region.

The 2024 white wine vintage was crafted with emphasis on varietal purity, selection of the best grape batches and controlled fermentation in stainless steel tanks to highlight natural fruit tones and typical juiciness. The higher alcohol (14 %) is beautifully integrated, supporting the wine’s creaminess and fullness.

On the nose, it opens with ripe pear, yellow melon, white flowers, honeyed tones and a gentle mineral line.

The palate is rich, harmonious and elegant – candied fruit, pear flesh, peach, a subtle honey note, fine spice, all balanced by refreshing acidity. The texture is creamy, full and long, with a distinct fruity imprint.

The finish is long, mineral, clean and elegant, with hints of honey, pear and herbal nuances.
