Pinot Gris 2024 from the winery Karpatská Perla comes from the prestigious vineyard site Suchý Vrch in Modra. This site is characterized by calcareous-clay soils that impart mineral precision, elegance, and concentration to the wines. The designation CHOP (Protected Designation of Origin) guarantees high quality and the origin of raw materials exclusively from this wine-growing region.
The 2024 vintage of this white wine was processed with an emphasis on varietal purity, selection of the best grape batches, and controlled fermentation in stainless steel tanks to highlight the natural fruit tones and typical juiciness. The higher alcohol content (14 %) is beautifully integrated and supports the creaminess and fullness of the wine.
The aroma is dominated by ripe pear, yellow melon, white flowers, a honey note, and a subtle mineral line.
On the palate, the wine is rich, harmonious, and elegant – candied fruit, pear flesh, peach, a honey hint, delicate spice, accompanied by a fresh acidity that provides balance. The texture is creamy, full, and long, with a pronounced fruity finish.
The finish is long, mineral, clean, and elegant, with a touch of honey, pear, and herbal notes.
