Frankovka Modrá from the Pearls Are Born in the Vineyard collection represents a fusion of organic viticulture from Karpatská Perla, handcrafted work, and gentle processing that highlights the pure origin of the grapes. The wine bears the CHOP designation (Protected Designation of Origin) and meets high standards of organic certification BIO.
The 22 MVO vintage (modern wine region / batch 2022) reflects healthy and ideally ripened Frankovka grapes, known for their fresh acidity, spiciness, and elegance. Vinification is carried out gently, focusing on preserving fruitiness, natural color, and fine tannin structure.
The aroma of this red wine is dominated by notes of black cherries, sour cherries, delicate plum, along with hints of spice, violet, and light minerality.
The taste is harmonious and smooth – red berry fruit, cherry, fine tannins, fresh acidity, complemented by a lightly spicy and earthy-mineral character. The finish is medium-long, elegant, with notes of black fruit and subtle spice.
