Glenglassaugh 12 Year Old is a scotch single malt whisky matured in a combination of bourbon, sherry and red wine casks. It is coming to whisky world as one of those first releases matured at the late-victorian distillery Glenglassaugh since its reopening in 2008.
The whole character of whisky from the Glenglassaugh distillery is carried in a typical coastal style. It is a harmoniously balanced, lush and tropical single malt. Aromatic-flavour profile is dominated by ripe apricots, figs, roasted vanilla, tropical plants, candied pistachios, dates and sweet figs, morello cherries, whipped cream, but also sea notes from the sun-heated coastal air.
Whisky is bottled with 45 % ABV.
Packaged in a designer bottle inspired by coastal waves.
