Glenglassaugh 12 Year Old is a Scottish single malt whisky that matured in a combination of bourbon, sherry, and red wine casks. It is one of the first to have matured in the Victorian distillery Glenglassaugh since its reopening in 2008.
The entire character of Glenglassaugh whisky carries a typical coastal style. It is a harmoniously balanced, intoxicating, and tropical single malt. Its rich aromatic and flavor profile is dominated by ripe apricots, figs, roasted vanilla, tropical plants, candied pistachios, dates, sweet figs, morello cherries, whipped cream, as well as marine notes from the sun-warmed coastal air.
The whisky is bottled at 45% alcohol by volume.
