A special limited edition of the fantastic Don Papa Secrets of Sugarlandia rum with a new recipe that offers a significantly more "rum" experience. It is made from molasses on the Philippine island of Negros, where one of the sweetest sugar canes in the world is grown.
Rum matured at the foot of Mount Kanlaon in ex-bourbon barrels, from which it was finally poured into ex-wine Rioja barrels. The rum is housed in a beautiful multi-colored limited edition gift tube that depicts the rich and critically endangered fauna and flora of the island of Negros. On the tube you can find the blood pigeon (with a red spot), the Visayan pig, the spotted sambar, the hornbill and the yellow-bearded hornbill.
A portion of the sales of this edition will be donated to the Talarak Foundation and the Philippine Reef and Rainforest Conservation Foundation, whose goal is to protect the valuable but especially threatened fauna and flora of the island. There is a QR code on the tube which, after scanning, will provide you with more information.
