Special limited edition of the fantastic rum Don Papa Secrets of Sugarlandia with a new recipe that offers a distinctly "rum-ier" experience. It is made from molasses on the Philippine island of Negros, where one of the sweetest sugar canes in the world is grown.
The rum is aged at the foot of Mount Kanlaon in ex-bourbon barrels, from which it was finally transferred to ex-wine Rioja barrels. The rum comes in a beautiful colorful limited edition gift tube, depicting the rich critically endangered fauna and flora of the island of Negros. On the tube, you can find the bleeding-heart dove (with a red spot), Visayan warty pig, spotted deer, rufous hornbill, and yellow-breasted hornbill.
A portion of the sales from this edition will be donated to the Talarak Foundation and the Philippine Reef and Rainforest Conservation Foundation, whose goal is to protect the valuable and especially endangered fauna and flora of the island. The tube features a QR code that will provide you with more information when scanned.
