Dalmore 45Year Old 2024 Edition

Dalmore 45 Year Old 2024 Edition is an exceptionally rare Highland single malt whisky created by Master Distiller Richard Paterson OBE. It represents the pinnacle of long and complex aging in carefully selected casks for which the Dalmore distillery is renowned.

The whisky first matured in American white oak casks that previously held bourbon. It was then transferred to barrique casks that held Cabernet Sauvignon red wine and subsequently returned back to bourbon casks for a period of time.

The penultimate aging stage took place in Tawny Port Pipe casks that previously contained 20-year-old port wine. The whisky was ultimately blended with rare, long-aged whiskies from bourbon casks and selected Colheita port wine casks. The result is an elegant and richly layered single malt whisky with fruity, coffee, and honey characteristics.

The aroma is dominated by freshly roasted coffee beans. The palate brings juicy figs, caramelized apple, and ripe banana. The long and harmonious finish develops traditional English orange marmalade, manuka honey, and subtle notes of cranberries.

The whisky is bottled at 40% alcohol by volume. It is presented in an elegant crystal decanter and a luxurious wooden box with a mirrored interior. This is a representative collector's edition intended for connoisseurs, significant collections, and extraordinary occasions.
