Dalmore 40 Year Old 2024 Edition is an exceptional Highland single malt whisky that showcases the mastery of the Dalmore distillery in selecting and blending rare casks. Four decades of aging have imparted extraordinary smoothness, depth, and a complex fruity-chocolate character.

The whisky first matured in American white oak casks that previously held bourbon. It was then divided: one part continued in 30-year-old Matusalem Oloroso sherry casks and the other in rare casks that held Graham’s Colheita port from 1970. Both parts were ultimately carefully combined into a harmonious result.

The nose reveals cherries, plums, sultanas, caramelized apple, and vanilla pod. The palate brings orange peel, chocolate pralines, traditional English orange marmalade, and crushed walnuts. The long finish develops forest fruits, poached pear with caramel, and dark chocolate.

Dalmore 40 Year Old 2024 Edition is bottled at 42% alcohol by volume. The striking decanter is housed in a luxurious presentation case with a mirrored interior, making it a representative collectible edition and an extraordinary gift for a connoisseur of Scotch whisky.
