Description
Peat single-species malt whiskey from Ireland. The winner of many international awards, this is indeed the result of a great effort by the distillers of Cooley.
Aroma: Lemon and fresh. Quite light, oil peat, which is combined with a clever touch of light apple and pear, there is a hint of egg custard and creamy malt.
Taste: Sweet, almost sparkling, with rural earthy peat, toppings with rhubarb and pudding flavor, cream, malt and wheat toast with melted butter. It also smokes like burning driftwood.
Conclusion: Light finish, medium length, vanilla and sour fruit with traces of oil smoke and pepper.
