Bushmills 10 Year Old

Bushmills is an excellent 10-year-old single Malt Irish whiskey that has matured in ex-bourbon and ex-sherry barrels. From the barrels it got an excellent fresh fruity taste with tones of chocolate, malt, vanilla and wood.

The aroma initially reveals honey notes, vanilla and chocolate, accompanied by sweet fruit – mainly apples, pears and a hint of banana. This is followed by spicy accents, subtle oak notes and a touch of fudge or caramel.

The whisky is relatively smooth on the palate, with a combination of sweet malt, vanilla and honey, followed by a fruity profile: baked apples, pear accents, perhaps a hint of tropical fruit such as mango or peach in the background. The juicy fruit is balanced by oak and spices – e.g. a subtle hint of black pepper or cinnamon. The alcohol (40 %) is well integrated, making the whisky a pleasant experience even for those who do not like very ‘strong’ whiskies.

The bottle is in a nice blue and white gift box. We recommend serving clean with ice or a drop of water.
