This 10-year-old Irish single malt whisky Tyrconnell Sherry Cask Finish comes from the distillery Cooley, where it matured in ex-sherry casks. It is a limited edition.
The whisky aged for 10 years in American oak casks and an additional 6 to 8 months in ex-sherry casks. The name Tyrconnell became famous thanks to a successful racehorse featured on the bottle's label.
Bottles were filled after maturation with an alcohol content of 46% and a volume of 0.7 l and are delivered in gift tubes.
Color: amber
Nose: sherry Fino, grapes, raisins, Peruvian pepper, mint
Palate: sherry Fino, French tarte tatin, custard, nuts
Finish: sherry, apple pie, cinnamon
