Connemara Peated
Connemara Peated is an exceptional Irish single malt whiskey with a gently peated character, named after the rugged and beautiful Connemara region on Ireland’s west coast. It is one of the few Irish whiskeys that use peat, offering a unique combination of traditional Irish style and smoky notes typically associated with Scotch whisky.
The whiskey is matured in carefully selected American oak bourbon casks and Bordeaux wine casks, giving it a well-balanced flavor profile with notes of smoke, honey, vanilla, fruit, and subtle spice. Maturation takes place in the Atlantic coastal climate, which significantly enhances its complexity and depth of character.
Connemara Peated was first released in the late 1990s and quickly gained popularity among lovers of peated Irish whiskey as well as fans of lighter smoky single malts. We recommend enjoying it neat, or with a few drops of water, to fully reveal its aromatic layers.
The whiskey comes in an elegant green-and-white gift tube, making it an excellent choice as a gift for connoisseurs of quality Irish single malt whiskey.
