Chateau Rúbaň Mília Sparkling 2022

Slovak quality wine with the attribute selection of grapes, carbonated sparkling semi-sweet white wine. Variety Mília (cross Müller Thurgau x Tramín red), vintage 2022, South Slovak wine-growing region - Strekov.

3333 bottles of Mília Sparkling were produced and it is a unique collaboration between the Chateau Rúbaň winery and the Slovak jeweller Petra Toth.

The wine is a rich yellow-green colour with golden sparkle around the edges. The aroma is reminiscent of a wide palette of ripe exotic fruit with a trace of blooming rose and muscat notes. The palate is long, rich in fruit acids that are balanced with residual sugar. It is full of tropical fruit notes in a blend of mango, papaya, pineapple and subtly spicy nutmeg. The aftertaste combined with the alcohol and residual sugar leaves a spicy mouthfeel.

The hand-harvested grapes have been processed gently and macerated for several hours at a reduced temperature and with limited access to air oxygen at all stages of winemaking. The wine was then carbonated with carbon dioxide (CO2).

We recommend serving at a temperature of 9 - 10 °C. Bottle maturity 1 - 2 years.
