Piccini Brunello di Montalcino DOCG vintage 2016 is an Italian red wine made from 100% of the grapes of the variety Sangiovese Grosso, late hand harvest, wine-growing area of Montalcino, Italy (altitude 350 m above sea level).
The grapes for the production of this wine are harvested by hand during the late summer until the moment when it reaches perfect maturity, usually only in October. It is then fermented for 10-12 days in stainless steel tanks. However, a complex wine such as Piccini Brunello di Montalcino subsequently acquires its charm during maturation, during which freshly fermented wine matures and slowly absorbs aromas and flavor tones from wooden barrels. This red wine matured to its perfection for up to 20 months in oak barrels, another 4 months in barrique barrels, then spent 24 months stored at a controlled temperature and another 6 months finally rested filled in a bottle. He thus becomes one of the true wine lovers for a total of up to 5 years after the grapes are harvested.
Color : dark red, almost opaque to the eye
Aroma : lasting and rounded with complex, and at the same time intense and classy tones of licorice and ripe black cherries
Taste : full, ripe and spicy taste of the darkest fruit with smooth tannins revealing its elegant taste and chestnut-fruity, long finish
This Tuscan red wine goes well with game and ripe cheeses. Serve at a temperature of 18 ˚C.
Giusti Amarone della Valpolicella DOCG is an Italian red dry to semi-dry wine made from 80% grapes of the Corvinus Veronese and Corvinone varieties , as well as 20% grapes of the Rondinella variety, hand-picked, mountainous parts of the Valpolicella Classical wine region, Italy.
For the production of this red wine, only the best bunches are collected, which are first dried in small baskets after harvest for 3-4 months, until the time comes for their 30-40 day long maceration and fermentation in stainless steel tanks. It matures in oak barrels for 24 months and matures directly in the bottle for another 6 months, before it can travel among true wine lovers.
Color : transparent garnet red wine
Bouquet : intense with tones of blackberries and plums, dried violets and roses, balsamic tones of nocino liqueur and liqueur liqueur, vanilla, cinnamon, menthol cocoa and spices
Taste : light and balanced with present but smooth tannins
This red wine goes well with steak, stew or ripe cheese.
Serve at 18 - 20 ° C.
It is recommended to cork this wine at least half an hour before serving.
